PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

After admission into the Institute, the next step is for a student to complete registration formalities before being eligible to commence Lectures. One cannot be eligible as a bona fide student of the Institute unless one (student) has registered for one’s courses at the beginning of the session of every year of one’s studentship. Registration must be completed within the first month of every semester.

(a)   Registration formalities include:
(i) Payment of the prescribed fees and other charges.

(b)   (ii) Completion of registration forms at the Admissions department or Examination and Records department
(iii) Completion of Course Registration forms at the departmental level

 LATE REGISTRATION:
a student who fails to register within the stipulated period, i.e. within four (4) weeks of the start of the session, shall be required to pay a late registration fee.

MATRICULATION OF STUDENTS:
All fresh students are expected to present themselves for orientation exercise as well as matriculation ceremony, it is during these events that the fresh students are formally introduced and respectively admitted into the Institute, pledge to abide by the rules and regulations and to uphold her ideals. All Matriculated students must sign the matriculation register and also make sure they are conversant with their matriculation numbers.
